The Rusted Chandelier
1912/2019
The Rusted Chandelier Event Venue was originally built around 1912 as The Colonial Trust Company. Colonial Trust moved to 66 W Elm St and sold the building to Montgomery Wards, which thrived during the cotton boom, but sadly had to closed it’s doors do to the depression. Over the years this historic building has housed many different ventures, as a sewing factory, tractor sales, furniture store, and venue hall. The Beggs family began a massive remodel starting in 2018 turning this already beautiful charming historic building into The Rusted Chandelier Event Venue. While exposing the beautiful original brick walls, adding a gorgeously massive fire place, rebuilding the bar, replacing all of the pipes and pluming and installing all new heating and air, they have been able to keep the historic charm to make this a one of a kind elegant venue absolutely breath taking.
