Colonial Trust moved to 66 W Elm St and sold the building to Montgomery Wards, which thrived during the cotton boom, but sadly had to closed it’s doors do to the depression. Over the years this historic building has housed many different ventures, as a sewing factory, tractor sales, furniture store, and venue hall. The Beggs family began a massive remodel starting in 2018 turning this already beautiful charming historic building into The Rusted Chandelier Event Venue.
